A Little About Her Background…

Kaia found her love for fitness at a young age and quickly realized how much it could impact not just the body but also the mind. What started as a personal journey soon became a passion for helping others feel strong, confident, and capable in their own skin. That passion led her to become a certified personal trainer, and she’s been changing lives ever since.

With experience in weight loss, resistance training, and mobility work, Kaia is always learning and growing to bring the best training methods to her clients. She stays up to date with the latest fitness trends and continues to expand her knowledge to ensure she provides safe, effective, and personalized training.

For Kaia, the most rewarding part of her job is seeing her clients succeed—whether that’s lifting heavier, moving better, or simply feeling more confident. She believes that fitness is about progress, not perfection, and she’s here to help you enjoy the journey while reaching your goals.

Get to Know Your Personal Trainer!

I was introduced into the fitness industry when I was 19 by a mentor of mine who is also a personal trainer. I noticed how exercising improves me not only physically, but also my confidence and overall mental health. I quickly developed a passion to help other people experience the same thing.

I focus on weight loss, resistance training, mobility and flexibility training. I also have a lot of experience with balance and stability training. I have done a lot of research into these types of training and have worked with clients in these areas.

My approach to training is : There is no one size fits all approach. Every client needs different programs and methods that work for them. At the core, it needs to be challenging ( in a good way), enjoyable, balanced, and realistic.

I have worked with all different types of clients. From beginners to athletes, and from children to seniors. I have a lot of experience working with women who are seeking resistance training after being diagnosed with Osteoporosis, as well as clients with knee pain.

I help keep my clients motivated by making sure every win or achievement is noticed and celebrated. Even though the "End Goal" may take longer to achieve, there will be many other achievements that can be tracked along the way. Such as lifting a heavier weight, holding a plank for 5 seconds longer, or noticing increased mobility in their shoulders in daily activities.

My favorite training style personally is a high intensity interval training workout (HIIT). I am able to get cardio and strength training done at the same time which is great for calorie burning as well as time efficiency.

I am able to alter my approach or modify workouts for clients with varying abilities. For example, if a client struggles with shoulder pain and stiffness - I will focus more on mobility and stability until we are able to increase the range of motion before moving on to more strength training.

Normally my clients will warm up 10-15 minutes before my arrival, then we will start with a dynamic warmup to ensure proper blood flow to all of the muscles prior to exercise. Then after we have moved through my clients unique workout plan, I will normally end the session with 10-15 minutes of assisted stretching. If not assisted stretching, then 10 minutes of guided static stretching to help relax the muscles after the workout. The type of stretching at the end is clients choice.

I stay up to date on current trends and research by completing additional continuing education courses than what is required to remain a certified cpt.]

One of the things I enjoy the most about being a certified personal trainer is watching my clients achieve their goals and having the honor of being a part of that process. Having the privilege of seeing them gain confidence in themselves and their physical abilities is extremely rewarding.

Advice I would give to someone just starting in the fitness industry is two things: 1. It is never too late to get started . 2. Something is better than nothing. For example, a 20 minute workout is better than no workout.
