A Little About Bruna’s Background…
Bruna’s passion for health and movement began when she was just 13, playing basketball in Brazil. Her love for the game eventually brought her to the U.S., where she played at the college level and gained a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. Through her experience, she learned the importance of fueling with whole foods, training with intention, and building both physical and mental resilience.
Beyond fitness, Bruna has a background in psychology, which shapes her holistic approach to coaching. She understands that motivation, habits, and mindset play a huge role in success, and she works closely with clients to develop the confidence and discipline needed to stay on track. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, she loves connecting with people from all backgrounds and making fitness feel accessible to everyone.
When she’s not training, Bruna enjoys staying active outdoors, experimenting with healthy recipes, and traveling to experience new cultures. She believes that movement should be enjoyable and that living a healthy lifestyle is about balance, not restriction. Whether she’s helping clients in the gym or supporting them beyond workouts, she’s honored to be a part of their fitness journey.

My journey in fitness began as a collegiate basketball player, where I developed a deep passion for physical training and understanding how the body performs at its best. Transitioning from athletics to fitness, I was motivated to help others experience the same benefits and breakthroughs I had, both physically and mentally. Becoming a personal trainer felt like a natural progression, allowing me to combine my love for fitness with my desire to inspire others. Over time, I became more focused on working with a variety of clients from different backgrounds, learning how to tailor my approach for each individual’s needs and goals.
I specialize in strength training, performance enhancement, and injury prevention. With my background in collegiate sports and performance enhancement certification through NASM, I have a strong foundation in improving athletic performance. Additionally, I work closely with clients to address injury rehabilitation and recovery, making sure that training programs are customized to not only build strength but also ensure long-term physical health.
My training approach is all about customizing workouts to meet each client’s specific goals, abilities, and any physical limitations they may have. I believe that fitness should be both fun and effective. I take a holistic approach, combining strength training with corrective exercises to ensure clients build strength without injury. I also emphasize motivation, recognizing that positive mental reinforcement is key to achieving physical goals.
I’ve worked with clients of all backgrounds and ages—from beginners to seasoned athletes, seniors, and those recovering from injuries. I’ve had the privilege of helping people transform their health, whether it’s improving athletic performance, losing weight, or managing chronic conditions. One notable achievement was helping a senior client regain mobility after knee surgery, improving both strength and confidence in her daily life. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness my clients’ progress.
With my background in psychology, I focus a lot on mindset and motivation. I help clients set small, achievable goals, which leads to long-term success. When challenges arise, I use positive reinforcement and constantly remind clients of how far they’ve come. My focus on making workouts engaging and fun helps clients stay excited about their training, which boosts consistency.
My favorite workouts revolve around functional strength training and agility drills. I love incorporating exercises that mimic real-life movements, helping clients build a strong foundation that carries over into their everyday activities. On a personal level, I enjoy high-intensity interval training (HIIT), as it keeps me motivated and challenged, while also improving both strength and endurance.
I always assess each client’s fitness level before designing a program, ensuring the workouts are challenging but not overwhelming. For clients with specific needs, such as those recovering from injury or dealing with mobility issues, I adjust exercises to focus on recovery and gradual progress. I believe in making modifications as needed, whether it’s reducing intensity, changing movements, or incorporating more corrective exercises.
A typical session with me starts with a dynamic warm-up to get the body ready for movement. From there, we focus on the main training portion, where I guide clients through strength or performance exercises tailored to their goals. I also emphasize proper form and technique to prevent injury. We finish with a cool-down to promote recovery, including stretches or mobility work if needed. Every session is designed to be effective, engaging, and fun.
I stay committed to ongoing education through workshops, certifications, and keeping up with the latest research in fitness and nutrition. Being in the fitness field, it’s essential to stay informed about new trends, especially in performance enhancement and injury prevention. I’m always looking for ways to better serve my clients by incorporating the latest and most effective training techniques.
What I enjoy most is seeing my clients succeed—whether it’s lifting more weight, running a faster mile, or simply feeling more confident in their own skin. I thrive on being able to impact their lives in a positive way. The bond I develop with clients and the joy I feel when they reach their goals is incredibly rewarding.
